And there is a good reason. Dr. Dean Spitz owns a closed therapy practice and is quite serious about helping his patients. And what will he do with this approach to comedy when he takes on a more serious topic? I asked him.
“Well, I think at this point, you know, the only other time I would do stand-up comedy is when I have a patient that’s no longer going to therapy,” Spitz laughed. “That’s how serious I am.”
